Im planning to have my frontside de-chromed, i already used some tape to see if it is what i expected, and i think it looks more modern, more agressive.
So the question is: is it a diy job?
how to get the lower grill, and the ones beneath the headlights, off? i know the upper grill is connected with 4 bolds.
Maybe someone has a pic from elsa/etka which shows how they are attached.
What material are they made off? just plastic?
do i have to prime them first? if so, which prime?
colour satin black? how many layers?

the ones beneath the headlights are only cliped. you must pull middle of lower side

the plasics over the foglamps are screwed. two screws one on top side one on down side.

yes, but its the only way i can get it into my garage.
when i drive it front first, im scared my wheelarches touch the wall..

you need a bigger garage or a smaller car.Look at my picture!

it takes some practice...

and how you came out of the car ? Over the roofdoor, or did you live and sleep in the car ?
